How The Hub helps our Franchisees generate additional revenue

Part of the role of The Wheel Specialist's marketing department is to make sure we are always reviewing and developing our digital infrastructure. 

This summer we launched our 'wheel refurbishment upgrades' page. Built in house, this form is promoted to all public customer through multiple communication channels. Through this page, customers are encouraged to add various upsell products to their booked wheel refurbishment.

We know that wheel care products can make a big difference to the longevity, look and ease of wheel maintenance for customers. Because of this, our form is a win-win. We're providing customers with great products and educating them about why they are recommended, whilst generating additional revenue for our franchisees on-the-fly, with little to no additional effort required from them.

Upon going live, this new form generated thousands of pounds of additional product sales in 24 days. This was good but we felt tweaks could be made to improve the form further. After analysing the data and form usage, we changed the form by front-loading it to promote the highest revenue package and added promotional videos for each product within the actual form itself.

Following these changes, the new form provided a 56% increase in resulting revenue​ in just 14 days.

We project that over the next 12 months, this new feature will generate tens of thousands of pounds in additional add-on product sales across our network.​
